Survey shows limited understanding and high concern about use of animals in Australian scientific research

Australians want more transparency around the use of animals in research, a study has shown.

A survey commissioned by the Australian and New Zealand Council for the Care of Animals in Research and Teaching found that while the majority of respondents supported the use of animals in scientific research, this support was “highly conditional”.
