Universities get their third minister in 12 months as inquiry is launched into relationship allegations
Alan Tudge, Australia’s minister for education, has stepped aside indefinitely.
The announcement was made on 2 December, after a former staffer made allegations about a relationship with Tudge several years ago. Prime minister Scott Morrison said there would be a full investigation of the allegations.
