Universities say they can improve the situation if government funding increases

Australia’s professional training system needs to improve to avoid a worsening shortage of professional skills, a national report has said.

The 2022 Skills Priority List, published by the government’s National Skills Commission on 6 October, shows which occupations are in short supply or are likely to be in high demand in the near future.
