Australian government provides A$3.8 million for projects involving citizens in research

Nine projects have been funded in the second round of a federal programme promoting citizen science.

The projects are part of a four-year push to include ordinary Australians in research work, including data gathering and study design. The projects are all focused on disaster preparedness, environmental change, cybersecurity or food and agribusiness.
