Australia invests in university research commercialisation with “Trailblazers”, but some say wider strategy is needed

When it comes to boosting research commercialisation, Australia’s government has put its money where its mouth is.

In July, six university-led groups will receive their first instalments from a pot of almost A$243 million to speed up innovation in Australia’s six national manufacturing priority areas.
