Participants call for clear rules and shared language to make industry-university partnerships work

Public researchers and industry are still struggling to find common ground in Australia, with government leadership needed on priorities, Universities Australia’s annual conference has heard.

University of Adelaide vice-chancellor Peter Høj said that university investment in research had risen over the past decade, even as national spending on R&D decreased.
