Second Connected Campus wave for ‘peripheral France’

Government unveils web of micro-campuses to facilitate distance learning in remotest regions

The French government has given the go-ahead to 15 distance learning projects intended to bridge the gap between traditional higher education and isolated rural areas.

The Connected Campuses are part of the government’s Investments in the Future programme. The campuses will provide face-to-face tutoring, computer centres, workshops and other assistance to small groups of students in provincial France.
