Research centre banks on de-carbonated hydrogen with dedicated scientific network
The CNRS, France’s National Centre for Scientific Research, this week unveiled the Hydrogen Research Federation, a network of laboratories studying how to make hydrogen energy viable.
The group will employ 270 permanent researchers—including CNRS staff, university professors and engineers—from 28 laboratories actively involved in the hydrogen field. Six research strands have been identified: production, storage, transport and mobility, stationary use of hydrogen energy, job training, and the development of a network of specialised laboratories.
