Macron abolishes ENA in reform aimed at appeasing French protesters

France’s finishing school for civil servants, the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), is to be closed following a final decision by president Emmanuel Macron.

Macron, who toyed with the idea of shuttering the school for two years, last week laid out his vision for a reformed civil service education and research centre during a video conference with senior state employees.
