Art historian Laurence Dorléac paints picture of brighter future at hybrid university-école
Laurence Bertrand Dorléac, a professor of art history, has been appointed as leader of the foundation that oversees Sciences Po, one of France’s most prestigious public research universities.
Dorléac was chosen last week as the president of the National Foundation of Political Sciences (FNSP), which manages the hybrid grand école and university. She is the first woman to hold the post and the second art historian, and was elected by 21 votes against three.
