Minister “pleased” with progress as first tranche of applications are evaluated
The French research ministry and the country’s National Research Agency (ANR) has chosen 20 projects from the first round of applications made to the Priority Exploratory Research Programmes and Equipment (PEPR) fund.
Research minister Frédérique Vidal said she was pleased with the success of the first phase of the plan, which she described as a “major expansion” of French research funding. At the end of May, 67 proposals had been submitted to PEPR, which, the ministry said, was a testament to the “enthusiasm and success of this call”.
