CNRS to present national priorities at June expo

   

Quantum, hydrogen and medical technologies will be in focus during VivaTech

France’s National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) will be demonstrating the value of fundamental research, particularly so-called “deep tech”, at this year’s VivaTech event in Paris.

CNRS chief executive and president Antoine Petit said the agency, France’s main public research funder, is planning to showcase the scientific progress it has been supporting. The body is also seeking to demonstrate its role as a “dynamic player” in France’s planned economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic, Petit said.
