CNRS partnership aims to support technology transfer and grow startups into larger operations
French state investment bank Bpifrance has signed an agreement with the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) to support startups through publicly funded research.
The deal is part of the implementation of Bpifrance’s so-called “deeptech” plan. The accord, signed at the Vivatech trade fair in Paris on 16 June, is expected to create 2,000 research-focused technology startups in the next five years, the two organisations said in a statement.
