CEA partnership boosts digital identity research

            

Research agency joins up with national printer on topics including blockchain technology

The CEA, France’s public research organisation for energy, defence and technology, will partner with IN Groupe, a company owned by the French government, for a research programme aimed at making digital identity more secure.

In a statement published on 28 March, the CEA said the programme would centre on research in three areas: the use of decentralised identity and blockchain technology, so-called “anti-spoofing” detection of image fraud and risk analysis management at border crossings.
