France launches €600m wave of priority research projects

CNRS to co-pilot 13 projects funded under the PEPR scheme

The CNRS, France’s largest public research organisation, will work with institutions from across the country on projects that have been awarded funding in the second round of the Priority Equipment and Research Programme (PEPR).

All projects are multidisciplinary and were selected with a preference to those areas “considered as priorities at national or European level and linked or likely to be linked to a large-scale transformation (technological, economic, societal, environmental…)”, a statement from the government said. They will share €600m of funding.
