Government funding scheme aims for locally embedded research excellence, says minister
Projects at 17 French universities will share €328 million in funding aimed at strengthening regional links in research.
The "Excellence-S in all its forms" call for projects is funded under the French state’s fourth round of Investments in the Future (PIA4) programme, and is intended to “recognise excellence in diversity”, while supporting higher education and research institutions with “ambitious transformation projects” that have a local or regional dynamic.
