Historians ‘relieved’ as Prussian prince offers talks on libel cases

Hohenzollern house wants dialogue after suing scientists investigating family ties to Nazi past

The German Association of Historians (VHD) has expressed relief after the prince of Prussia offered to open a dialogue over libel cases against scientists studying his family’s historic links to Nazi Germany.

Georg Friedrich Prinz von Preußen told Research Professional News that personal conversations with the scientists would be his preferred solution to addressing his concerns over what he termed “mistaken statements”.
