‘Striking’ difference in public-public partnership activity flagged
The EU’s 13 most recent member states are participating on average in roughly half the number of public-public R&D partnerships that the older 14 EU countries are involved in, according to a report.
On average, EU14 countries were participating in 54 such partnerships in January 2019, while EU13 countries were participating in just 28, says the annual report of the ERA-Learn support platform for public-public partnerships, published on 26 May. “Overall, the differences between EU13 and EU14 are striking,” the report says.
