Jean-Eric Paquet says national leaders ‘struggled to be consistent’ with 2021-27 EU budget
National leaders’ rhetoric does not match their official stance on the 2021-27 EU budget when it comes to the importance of research and innovation, the official in charge of these areas at the European Commission has indicated.
“Member states at leaders’ level are very clear on investment in research and innovation,” Jean-Eric Paquet told the Commission’s Research and Innovation Days conference on 22 September.
