EU opens new call for boosting entrepreneurship in universities

Second European Institute of Innovation and Technology call offering almost double first call’s funding

A second funding round for supporting entrepreneurship in higher education institutions, worth up to €48 million, has been opened by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology under its pilot HEI Initiative.

The first funding round of the pilot launched earlier this year and awarded €28.8m to 24 projects involving 142 higher education institutions and 155 non-academic organisations, such as companies.
