Italy dominates latest European Innovation Council funding round

Italian organisations are participating in 14 of 35 projects funded by €3.5 million call

Companies, research institutes and universities in Italy have dominated the most recent round of funding awarded by the EU’s European Innovation Council, participating in 14 of the 35 projects that each won €100,000 to explore the commercialisation of an idea based on research.

Swiss entities were the next most successful, participating in nine projects, followed by German entities, which are taking part in six.
