Research leaders hail ‘pre-draft’ Annotated Model Grant Agreement after weeks of waiting

The European Commission has released a ‘pre-draft’ Annotated Model Grant Agreement for Horizon Europe, finally alleviating some of the worries from research leaders about the AMGA’s absence since the first calls of the 2021-27 EU R&D programme opened weeks ago.

The AMGA is used as a guide by researchers applying for funding from the EU. Research leaders previously expressed concern about the ongoing absence of the guide despite the Commission launching the first batch of funding calls under the main 2021-22 work plan for Horizon Europe on 22 June.
