Commission reports progress on Horizon Europe association talks

Final negotiations set for August-September, with association agreements expected to be signed in late 2021

The European Commission has completed its second round of talks on association to Horizon Europe with a raft of non-EU countries hoping to gain the fullest possible access to the bloc’s €95.5 billion 2021-27 R&D programme.

Armenia, Georgia, Israel, Moldova, the Western Balkans—Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia—Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine have all now completed their second round of talks, the Commission announced on 29 July.
