Balkan country follows UK, which agreed EU R&D cooperation through Brexit agreement
Kosovo has become the first country to successfully close dedicated talks with the European Commission on associating to the 2021-27 EU R&D programme, Horizon Europe, Research Professional News understands.
Association provides the fullest possible access to the bloc’s R&D programmes for non-EU countries. Researchers and organisations based in associated countries can win funding from most parts of the programme in exchange for their government making a contribution to the programme budget.
