Focuses include climate change, Ukraine and global challenges
The European Commission has given the go-ahead to €13.5 billion in EU R&D spending in 2023-24, prioritising climate action along with measures for energy security, support for Ukraine and global challenges.
New work programmes for large parts of the bloc’s Horizon Europe R&D programme were adopted by the Commission on 6 December.
