New Bauhaus demonstrator aims for coastal climate neutrality

   

Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Sweden will develop initiatives with Horizon Europe funding

The EU is to fund a sixth demonstrator project under its New European Bauhaus green design initiative, using up to €5 million from the bloc’s research and innovation programme, Horizon Europe, to support climate neutrality in cities.

Announced on 27 September, the Bauhaus of the Seas Sails project will support seven “transformational demonstrator” initiatives in coastal cities in Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Sweden.
