Coalition could develop templates for agreements between publishers and consortia, report says

Creating a coalition of different groups with roles in driving open access in scholarly publishing would help smaller publishers make their content freely available, a study has suggested.

“It is particularly crucial that there is active cross-stakeholder alignment focused on enabling smaller independent publishers to transition [to open access] successfully,” the study report published on 9 June said.
