Locations picked for next wave of EU supercomputers

Europe’s fastest and greenest supercomputer opens in Finland

The EU has announced five sites that will host new supercomputers for use in scientific research and innovation.

Among them, Europe’s first exascale supercomputer—capable of more than a billion billion calculations per second—will be hosted at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre in Germany.
