Open-access initiative appoints panel to further develop its service for comparing journals’ prices
The open-access initiative Plan S has set up an advisory panel to help it develop its platform for comparing the prices and services offered by academic journals.
Plan S announced on 15 March that it had selected 12 panel members from across the scholarly communication sector to review its Journal Comparison Service, which was launched last year in response to growing calls for greater transparency around the services publishers provide and the prices they charge.
