Strong links between research, defense and space programmes ‘could foster growth and employment’, Commission says
The European Commission has opened a public consultation on an “action plan” to boost innovative cross-overs between civil, defence and space industries by strengthening synergies among EU programmes supporting these areas.
“Close synergies already exist between space, defence and security industries, e.g. for dual use applications under the EU’s Global Satellite Navigation System,” the Commission said in its call for feedback, which opened on 23 September.
