The “credibility” of EU research and innovation funding is in danger of being undermined by its new missions, a leading MEP has warned.

Five research and innovation missions—on climate, cancer, oceans, cities and soil—were launched by the bloc a week ago in an effort to have a greater impact on societal challenges.
