Initiative will split €27.5 million among 23 consortia to boost entrepreneurship and innovation
The European Institute of Innovation and Technology, an EU body that supports knowledge exchange between education, research and innovation organisations, has announced the winners of a funding initiative to encourage entrepreneurship at universities.
The EIT’s pilot Higher Education Institution Initiative will fund 23 consortia bringing together 135 universities and 140 research-performing organisations, such as companies and specialist centres, the institute announced on 15 July.
