European Commission calls for increase in clean energy research

EU climate tech startups are being held back “more than in other major economies”

The European Commission has called for the EU to increase investment in “clean energy” research and innovation.

“More public and private investments in clean energy research and innovation, scale-up and affordable deployment are of pivotal importance,” it wrote in a report published on 17 November.
