European Space Agency ‘intensifying’ work with Nasa

Agencies sign agreements on Earth system science and lunar telecommunications

The European Space Agency has said it is “intensifying” its longstanding relationship with the US space agency Nasa, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

“The partnership is extremely strong, it goes back to many decades of very close cooperation in many domains, but since the 24 of February, I have to say that this partnership intensified even more because the world order has changed and is still changing,” Esa’s director general Josef Aschbacher said on 15 June.
