Research needed to clean up aviation, report says

EU agency urges work on climate change mitigation measures and impact assessment

Research is needed for the aviation sector to mitigate and adapt to climate change, according to a new report by the EU Aviation Safety Agency.

Easa said in a report published on 21 September that the sector needs research into its climate impact, into cleaner technologies and into how the sector will be affected by extreme weather events.
