Programme aims to inspire innovation in government agencies

A dozen research awards worth a combined €700,000 have been announced under the Science Foundation Ireland’s Public Service Fellowship programme.

Simon Harris, Ireland’s research minister, released details about the awards on 21 October, coinciding with Public Service Innovation Week. The fellowships aim to provide academics with an opportunity to work within government departments, agencies and with the Library and Research Service within the Oireachtas (Irish parliament).
