€17m development fund for border country

Irish government dishes out financing for companies and entities along the island’s internal border

A training centre for advanced manufacturing is one of 11 successful projects that will receive a combined €17 million, provided under Ireland’s Border Enterprise Development Fund 2020.

Heather Humphreys, minister for business, enterprise and innovation, announced the winning projects on 22 June at an event in Dundalk, Co Louth. Funding comes from the government and will be administered by SME support body Enterprise Ireland.
