Vaccination and rapid testing to facilitate return to campuses in Ireland, says government
News that the government expects on-campus teaching to resume in September after a successful rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine has been welcomed by the Irish Universities Association.
The group said that universities were “united in their commitment” to ensure students and staff could return to campus in the greatest possible capacity, while safeguarding public health. Such efforts would start with the next academic year, in accordance with government guidance, the IUA said.
