Ireland-wide project will deliver rapid testing and wastewater checks on campus
Higher education minister Simon Harris has urged higher education staff to volunteer for a Covid-19 rapid testing pilot on college campuses.
The project, dubbed UniCoV, aims to conduct a large-scale analysis of testing technologies for Covid-19 surveillance and prevention in higher education. These will include rapid antigen testing, saliva-based PCR testing and wastewater surveillance.
