Italy launches €1bn infrastructure roadmap

Plan outlines strategic local and international projects—but its implementation has yet to be detailed

The Italian government will spend €1.08 billion on participation in large research efforts over the next seven years, according to its newly launched development plan for research infrastructure.

The plan was unveiled on 20 October. However, many of the finer details and aspects of its implementation have yet to be defined, according to academics.
