Italian researchers lead nearly half of winning projects to boost science diplomacy
Italy has performed well in a call for proposals issued by the Prima foundation—the Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area—leading 40 per cent of all winning projects.
The total amount of funding available under the call was €62.5 million. Italian research institutions, universities and enterprises are involved in 33 out of the call’s 41 total funded projects, according to the country’s research ministry.
