Universities team up to help reduce healthcare costs

Dutch institutions aim to speed up technological advances by winning more funding and pooling resources

Four technical universities in the Netherlands have formed a cluster called 4TU.Health to represent their medical research activities.

Delft University of Technology, the University of Twente, Eindhoven University of Technology and Wageningen University and Research have joined forces in an attempt to obtain more money from health companies and national research funders. This should result in better healthcare and more affordable technologies, the group said.
