€14.5m lung disease research programme kicks off

 

 

Dutch consortium aims to improve early detection and prevention using innovative technologies

A Dutch coalition of public and private partners has started a €14.5 million research programme on prevention, early detection and better treatment of lung disease.

The Precision Medicine for More Oxygen partnership, known as P4O2, is led by the medical centres of the University of Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and is sponsored by pharmaceutical giant Novartis.
