Quantum computing, artificial intelligence and health data picked in initial tranche of projects
The Dutch caretaker government has allocated the first €4 billion to support R&D, infrastructure and knowledge development through the National Growth Fund, a five-year, €20bn programme to boost economic growth and make it more sustainable.
A total of 10 projects have been chosen for support in the first round: five R&D projects, three infrastructure projects and two knowledge development projects. The announcement follows the advice of the Dijsselbloem committee, an independent group of experts that recommended support for 10 of the 14 projects reviewed.
