The Netherlands has embraced artificial intelligence research but is still far behind other countries

The share of artificial intelligence articles among all Dutch science publications more than doubled between 2013 and 2018, according to a report.

A study compiled by the Rathenau Institute, which facilitates public debate on science policy, found that the Netherlands was third in the world behind the United States and Japan when it came to publication growth rate in AI.
