Universities develop business case for Open Knowledge Base

National Dutch database would integrate and harmonise data on publications, authors and impact, proponents say

Universities in the Netherlands are developing a business case for an Open Knowledge Base.

A proposal to create the database is expected soon from Surf, the cooperative IT association for Dutch education, and the UNL association of Dutch universities. The database would provide an overview of all scientific publications created in the Netherlands, their authors and their impact.
