Samok proposes to raise income limit for student grants

Finnish students say low threshold to reducing financial support damages their ability to work

Samok, Finland’s union for students of applied sciences, has called for a higher threshold of outside income after which student grants are reduced or even cut.

The current limits, it said on 29 October, are set too low and make it hard for many students to maintain jobs.
