Norway looks beyond Europe for research partnerships while concerns remain over academic freedom
Norway’s government has launched the Panorama strategy for higher education internationalisation, which will see the country’s universities cooperate more extensively with partners abroad.
The strategy, which was launched on 21 April, will focus on countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area. It comes with some guidelines on preserving academic freedom and upholding research ethics when cooperating with countries where these values may not be well protected.
