Green transition, Nordic-style

A detailed collaboration programme aims to boost sustainability R&D in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway

In 2022, a significant share of research in the Nordic region will be devoted to the green transition. This ambition is laid bare in a publication by the Nordic Council of Ministers called the Nordic Cooperation Programme on Energy Policy 2022-24.

Through this programme, the Nordic countries plan to strengthen their collaboration on energy research to become the most sustainable region in the world by 2030.
