Researchers in business lack access to skills, survey shows

    

Academics in Danish companies complain of few further study opportunities and little job training

More than half of the academics employed in the Danish private sector would like to have more access to competency development such as training courses, skills classes and further study.

This was shown by a survey conducted by Akademikerne, an umbrella organisation for Danish academic unions. “The results point to a large untapped potential for companies, employees and not least society in relation to ensuring the right competencies to solve the complex challenges of the future,” the organisation said.
